How Kampar food finds its way

How Kampar Old Town Restaurant came about:

Kampar Old Town Restaurant originated from "Wing Lok Yuen", a restaurant in Kampar that is famous with its Braise Rib, Pork knuckle, Prawn noodle, Fish ball noodle, Clay pot chicken Rice, and traditional confectioneries (Kaya Puff, Chicken Biskut and more)

Wing Lok Yuen was founded in 1947 by a local Kampar based family. Situated along Idris Street, in the heart of Perak Kampar town; once the main passage between Northern and Southern business travelers. Famous with delicious Chinese dishes, confectioneries and eating paradise.

Wing Lok Yuen is not just any restaurant; it is also the birth place of the Kampar’s famous Chicken Biscuit, Kaya Puff, Clay Pot Chicken Rice, Egg Cake, Kampar Prawn and Rib noodles.

After more than 63 years of fine-tuning, hard work and experience in serving quality meals, Wing Lok Yuen is still serving excellent quality meals in Kampar. We are very proud to say that after more than 6 decades of serving quality dishes in Kampar, our new venture to Subang is still owned and operated by the same founding family. If you are looking for a great Kampar food that taste like what you are getting with a 2 hour drive back, Kampar old town is definitely the place that you must visit.
